Holmebrook Valley Park, Accessible Route For All The Family

If you’re looking for an easy accessible route for the whole family in Chesterfield then Holmebrook Country park is hard to beat.

What to expect

There are good paths all around and plenty of grassy areas for dogs and kids to run and burn off their energy. We loved watching the ducks at the water’s edge and the park, toilets and free parking makes this place even better for a cheap day out.

Getting there & parking

Free parking at Holmebrook Valley Park main car park – S42 7AF

The route

This is a circular route taking you past the playing field and around the pond before heading back upto the start, but there are lots of paths here so it would be easy to make it shorter or longer depending on what you wanted to do on the day.

Tips & what to bring

This one would be the perfect place to enjoy a picnic, have a kick about with the football or even enjoy a bit of time sat on one of the benches around the pond.
