Location & walks nearby

Alstonefield is a pretty Peak District village located between the Dovedale and Manifold valley. At around 3 miles from both the stepping stones and Thor’s Cave, it is in the perfect place for exploring the popular spots yet a quiet haven to return to afterwards.

Would we go back?

Yes, it was beautiful. Waking up to coffee in the garden with the birds singing and having our own space to relax in after a days walking was great. We can also imagine how idyllic this place will be in the winter with snow outside.
