This walk takes you along the Tissington trail and into the beautiful village of Tissington before looping you back around through quiet fields and along a country lane to get you back to where you started.

What to expect
The Tissington trail is a popular route for cyclists, horse riders and walkers but theres plenty of space for everyone. It runs along the old disused train track so the start of the route is mainly flat and a great option for anyone including pushchairs and wheelchair users or anyone simply wanting an easier walk.

When we did this one, there were a group of cows that showed some interest in us, they were friendly and didn’t get too close but it’s worth knowing for anyone a little unsure of them.
