We loved staying at this cosy cottage nestled in the beautiful countryside of Anglesey. We stayed here for 5 days over the Christmas period and the log fire was such a great addition after a day exploring the island.

About the place
Bwthyn Cerrig is a recently renovated barn conversion, that sleeps 4 with a king bedroom upstairs and a twin room and bathroom downstairs. The downstairs also has an open plan living room including a very well stocked kitchen – they’ve thought of everything here, we even did some baking. This place really did feel home from home.

The cottage itself is very spacious yet felt super cosy once the log fire was lit. There’s secure parking on the driveway and we even had a table in the garden for al fresco dining, which we imagine would be lovely in summer, not December when we stayed though.

Location & walks nearby
Located in Llanerchymedd in the centre of Anglesey, it is the perfect base to explore all the great beaches and sites this little island has to offer. Dulas Bay and Parys Mountain are two of our favourite places on the island and these are only about 20 minutes away by car.
Would we go back?
We would definitely go back. Emma the host, is so friendly and she honesty can’t do enough for you. The price is very good, and often you can get a 4 night stay here for what a 2 night stay would cost you elsewhere. Its also dog friendly, so pet owners, this one is a good option if you’re looking for somewhere on Anglesey.
