The Ashford Arms is in the beautiful picture postcard village of Ashford in the water near Bakewell. It is in a great location for exploring the many walks and trails across the Peak District and a great place to refuel after a big day outdoors.

What is it?

The Ashford Arms is a quintessential country pub that blends traditional charm with contemporary comfort, it’s the perfect spot for a cosy meal or a refreshing drink with a seasonally inspired menu, designed by Raymond Blanc’ trained chef Adrian Gagea.

What we had

We had the crispy belly pork and scotch egg to start with a jammy yolk, followed by a steak stir fry and lamb rump with quinoa and pomegranate, the food was delicious and the staff were super friendly, just what we needed after a day outdoors.
